Recently a pal asked me how I got to this point, of small-business ownership and doing the unconventional compared to all of my college buds. Over time, many had asked me this question, but none had come from an advice seeking perspective. I relayed to her that I don’t just have a wedding and event planning firm for fun, although it really is fun. I’d love to share what I sent! I think it gives you a little insight into who I am and why I love what I do!

“But I think the biggest thing is how are you going to best function and then in turn give back? For me, I function best waking up early, chugging shit out and being [physically] fit. This is best done by having the flexible time to do all of that...by being my own boss. I realized I'm the best version of me when I utilize my best skill set which is organization and interpersonal relationships. From there, I can then pursue what I think is super important in life which is promoting strong women. I can do that by being a female entrepreneur, by promoting women on my Instagram and such and then having the more flexible time to commit to coaching or speaking to young girls. Plus, I’ve centered my business around empowering my brides and clients to be strong and bold women in their event planning desires! I mean maybe this is the “raised Catholic” person in me but I honestly think that every person should aspire to contribute something to this world in a productive manner. If your job gives you the means to do it at your time away from work or your job does this in it's entity then I guess, in my mind, that should kind of be the goal.”

Every day I am so blessed to live the life I do. I continue to work for people I find inspiring and help them create a wedding or event they are genuinely excited to be a part of. I want to help people understand that they do not have to do the expected thing for their wedding or their large event. At the end of the day, my goal is to help you feel as genuinely you in every part of your life, including your wedding!
