Have you ever tried to make cheesecake? Anecdote aside, I think it’s pretty difficult. For that reason alone, I’ve decided that I want cheesecake at my wedding. Specialty flavors, Classic NewYork and of course cheesecake bites. Let there be (cheese) cake!

Unlike other wedding cakes, which are obviously super tasty and well done, there are not many bakeries to choose from. You have to find a bakery that does it right and is ok with focusing on such a wondrous delicacy like cheesecake.

JR Dessert Bakery located in West Rogers Park, Chicago is family owned and specializes in cheesecakes. They have Apple Carmel on their menu and I’m already sold!
