Courtney & Grant: Ovation Chicago Small Wedding
Courtney and Grant hired me in 2018. Yep, for 2 years we eagerly awaited their wedding day, and unfortunately 2020 had to get in the way. While their big celebration has been pushed to 2021 they still wanted to do the thing! They gathered with 20 immediate family and only their local wedding party to get married at Ovation.
First, they deserve a round of applause for one of the safest weddings of 2020. Every guest wore their mask when standing and getting food or drinks, even between bites of food. Courtney and Grant set the tone of having a beautiful day, but not if it meant compromising the health of those around them. Thank you Courtney and Grant for keeping us all safe!
Their day included tacos from Big Star in Wicker Park and a thoughtful ceremony officiated by her brother, with many tuning in via facetime! I can’t wait to spend another year cheering you two on and celebrate when we can!
