How to Host a Zoom Bachelorette Party

Your living room is definitely no Scottsdale, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have an amazing Bach Party with all your people! It will just take a bit more prep. See in Scottsdale, you can just sit and banter by the pool with nothing planned because you’re together. I don’t know about you, but we’ve all been on a Zoom call where it’s just quiet and you want to leave the meeting but, like, you can’t. So here’s how we combat that by making the BEST PLANNED ZOOM BACH PARTY EVER!

  1. Appoint a ring leader

The thing about Zoom is when everyone is talking at once, it is hard to hear anyone, so you’ve got to have a ring leader. This could be the Maid of Honor or the most vivacious one of you all. They will be the one in charge of keeping people on task, starting and stopping activities, and more while on the zoom call.

  2. Have a schedule of events

Again, no one likes dead air. Activities are fun because you don’t have to come up with small talk when we all haven’t been outside in ages. Consider the first activity to be a get to know you so your whole wedding party can “meet”.
    -Do Bride/Groom Trivia
    -Play never have I ever
    -What’s in your cell phone?
-Do ‘Most Likely To’ now that you all know each other a bit
    -Have a cocktail making ‘class’
    -Wedding bingo
-End the zoom call with a heartfelt letter/speech to the Bride/Groom!

  3. Send everyone their materials

Now that everyone knows the schedule of events, be sure everyone is prepped! You can send adorable Bach party boxes to all attendees so you can emulate being together as much as possible. These boxes (see below) are CUTE (and durable to send via mail because yeah).

So fill these ADORABLE boxes with: candy, print-outs for the games, koozies, FACE MASKS, straws, Advil, and more!
Also who doesn’t love getting mail!

Send everyone the same photo for your matching Zoom background as well!

  4. Get Chipotle delivered for everyone

Or any other country wide food so you all are eating lunch/dinner at the same time with the same food! Grab those koozies and you can chat during meals and back to games if you’d like.

  5. Send out the Zoom link invitation and you’re ready to go!

With a good plan, almost anything can be fun! Be sure everyone is on board and buys into the fun. It might not be ideal, because yes Scottsdale really is better than your living room, but it can still be SO fun!

Also in the future, there might be times when we won’t all be able to get together and this will be a great alternative!
